The StoryHoard editorial verdict
A full-colour fantasy in which a mercenary swordswoman fights for her younger sister's medicine, and the harem setup pulls against the story's sincere, sword-driven emotional core.
Pros
- A sympathetic heroine with a clear goal
- Clean, bold full-colour swordplay
Cons
- The male-harem setup dilutes the drama
- Mercenary-hero tropes are familiar

To save her younger sister, Aria, from her illness, Cassmire Crisis became a mercenary, wielding a sword and shedding blood to pay for her medicine. That is a strong, sympathetic opening, and the series is built around a heroine whose every fight carries a personal reason. The premise is about sacrifice and the price of love. The strength is the sword work. Full-colour fights are clean and dynamic, and Cassmire's resolve is easy to root for. The sisterly bond gives the story emotional weight. The weaknesses are clear. The male-harem setup dilutes the drama, and mercenary-hero tropes are familiar. Readers wanting a focused story may find the cast crowded.Recommended for fans of sword-driven fantasy with a strong sibling bond. Expect a bright, busy ride.
