Noblesse

Noblesse is a full-colour action comedy with a unique premise. An ancient vampire wakes after a very long sleep and begins a quiet life as a student at a high school founded by his loyal servant. The school setting gives the story a playful energy, and the contrast between the lead's ancient calm and the teenagers around him is a constant source of humour. The colour work is bright, and the fights are energetic and dynamic. The honest cons: the story can feel loose, moving from one threat to the next without a strong through-line, and the power-driven battles grow repetitive over a long run. Some readers may find the plot hard to follow. Still, it is a fun, colourful ride for fans of supernatural action. If you like school-set fights with a sense of humour, this is worth picking up.
