Back then, Dok-Ja had no idea. He had no idea his favorite web novel 'Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse' was going to come to life, and that he would become the only person to know how the world was going to end. He also had no idea he would end up becoming the protagonist of this novel-turned-reality. Now, Dok-Ja will go on a journey to change the course of the story and save humankind once and for all. Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is a rare series that makes you think about how you read. Short version: a reader who has finished a long web novel finds that the world of that story has become real. That hook is excellent. It gives the story a built-in tension and a reason to care about every decision the lead makes. The art is clean and dynamic, with action scenes that move well on the page. The pacing is brisk, and the series rarely wastes a chapter. The downside is that the early setup can feel dense, since the rules of the premise need explaining. Some side arcs also repeat familiar beats. For readers who enjoy clever structure and a protagonist who thinks several steps ahead, it is a great pick. Expect a few slower moments on the way in.
