Kakegurui Twin

As a first-year student of the renowned Hyakkaou Private Academy, Mary Saotome knows her future is set for a one-way cruise to the top. Then an encounter from her past throws those plans into doubt. That is the spark for a series built on wagers, where the stakes are social and personal. The premise is tense and immediately gripping. The strength is the tension. The gambling sequences are sharp and clever, and the psychology behind each bet is the real pleasure. The characters are memorable, and the school's cruel hierarchy adds a constant sense of danger. The weaknesses are clear. The gambling logic can feel repetitive, and the dark psychological tone is heavy. Readers wanting a lighter school story may find the cruelty too much.Recommended for fans of gambling dramas with sharp psychology. Expect a tense, intense ride.
