In 1991, UN inspectors found the incomplete Project Babylon, a cannon capable of hurling a shell six hundred miles. In 1995, the Clinton administration learns of a second, hidden Iraqi super-cannon. The premise is a long-running thriller in which a cold, skilled assassin is hired for contracts that span politics and the world. The strength is the precision. The stories are tightly constructed, and the lead's professionalism is compelling. The long run offers a wide range of cases, each with its own shape. The weaknesses are about the episodic structure and age. The cases are often standalone and can feel repetitive, and the art and tone show their era. Readers wanting continuity may find it scattered.Recommended for fans of classic, precise thrillers. Expect a cool, episodic read that rewards those who enjoy the genre.
