Hoard Verdict

The StoryHoard editorial verdict

★ 4.5/5

Raw, restless and gleefully unpredictable, this is a series that thrives on not playing by the usual shonen rules.

Pros

  • Unpredictable plotting that keeps you guessing
  • Bold, stylish art with sharp panel design
  • Finished at 24 volumes, so it never overstays

Cons

  • Abrupt pacing shifts can feel jarring
  • The bleak tone is not for every reader
