This is the manga companion to an animated fantasy world where monsters roam and hunters fight to protect people. It is built on the four colour-coded trailers that promoted the show, and then it expands into an original story set between seasons. The result is a fun bonus for fans who want more time with the cast. The strongest part is the action. Panels capture weapon fights with clear energy, and the cast's personalities come through quickly. For readers who already love the world, the translation to the page is enjoyable and easy to follow. The weaknesses are equally clear. Newcomers may feel lost, since the story leans on the existing world and does not explain much from scratch. The original arc is slight, and its conflicts can feel thin compared with the animated series.Recommended for fans already invested in the setting. If you are new to the franchise, start with the show first.
