Kimi Shi ni Tamou Koto Nakare

In the future, supernatural powers not only exist but have become science fact. The Special Abilities Private High School is established in order to use students' powers. The premise is a sci-fi drama about a world in which abilities are normal, and a school that must decide how they are used. The strength is the concept. The idea of powers as science gives the world a fresh and thought-provoking shape, and the action has a sharp, energetic feel. The tension between students and the institutions that use them is compelling. The weaknesses are about tone and density. The darkness is heavy, and the world can be hard to track. Readers wanting a lighter story may find it draining.Recommended for fans of high-concept sci-fi with a dark edge. Expect a tense, thought-provoking read.
