by Yoshiaki Tabata, Kazumasa Hirai, Ayumi Izumiya
Akira Inugami just transfered into his new school. The principal and teachers fear what may happen because Inugami was placed in the same homeroom as the school's biggest problem and gang leader. His homeroom teacher Aoshika is going out of her mind trying to figure out what happened the night before, where she could have sworn she saw this same Inugami beaten alive and then hit by a car by a large group of thugs in a park. But somehow, Inugami, who denys everything, of course, is alive and without a scratch attending his first day at his new school. What the teacher Aoshika did not witness was a crazy werewolf-like beast destroy the thugs that attacked Inugami in the park. (Source: MangaTraders)

Akira Inugami has just transferred into a new school, and the staff are already nervous. He has been placed in the same homeroom as the school's biggest problem and gang leader, and that sets up the series' brawling energy. The premise is a classic delinquent story with a werewolf twist. The strength is the action. School fights are fast and physical, and the werewolf element gives them a fresh, animalistic edge. The clash between the lead's wild side and the school's rough hierarchy keeps the chapters lively. The weaknesses are clear. Fan-service and nudity tags appear often, and that can distract from the story. The plot is uneven across its arcs, and readers wanting a cleaner shonen experience may find it messy.Recommended for fans of old-school delinquent action with a supernatural twist. Expect rough edges and frequent fan-service.
