The Iga clan and the Kouga clan have been sworn enemies for more than four hundred years. Only the Hanzo Hatto, a single warrior, stands between them, and that premise is steeped in tradition and tragedy. The series builds its drama on loyalty, betrayal and a long-running feud that shapes everything around it.The strength is the scale. The rivalry is richly drawn, and the ninja action is fierce and stylish. The historical texture is strong. The weaknesses are clear. Violence is frequent, and some romance threads feel slight beside the feud. Readers wanting a lighter tone will find it intense.Recommended for fans of intense, historically grounded ninja drama. Expect a fierce, sweeping ride. The historical setting and the clan politics give the violence a weight that rewards patient readers.
