Can Je-u break free from the patterns that doomed every past run, or will a world that no longer follows its established routes prove too much of a challenge? (Source: WEBTOON)

After playing the game Guardian of Humanity for years and becoming an expert, Je-u Han finds himself dragged into a new server of the game and forced to play at the weakest level. The premise is a game-based action story about a veteran who must rebuild his reputation from scratch. The strength is the expertise. Je-u's knowledge and skill make him fun to follow, and the struggle to climb back up is satisfying. The action is clear and the game mechanics are fun to watch. The weaknesses are about the formula. The starting-over progression is familiar, and the series is still releasing, so its arc is not complete. Readers wanting originality may find it standard.Recommended for fans of game-based progression stories. Expect an energetic, still-developing read.
