Your Meteor, Hidden in Flowers

Every hundred years, the Monster's Bride is chosen, a sacrifice given to the demonic creature confined somewhere within the country. When Stella's sister is chosen, she volunteers to take her place. The premise is a fantasy romance built on sacrifice, duty and a woman who chooses to face a terrible fate for someone she loves. The strength is the emotion. Stella's selflessness is moving, and the idea of a bride who must meet her monstrous fate has a haunting pull. The world's ritual gives the story weight. The weaknesses are about the tone and early stage. The melancholy can be heavy, and the series is still releasing, so its arc is not complete. Readers wanting a light romance may find it sombre.Recommended for readers who enjoy poignant, sacrificial fantasy romances. Expect an emotional, still-developing read.
