Maxed Talent Player

In 2018, monsters swarmed Seoul, and heroic players saved the city. Fast-forward a decade, and Hyukjin Kim, stuck in a seven-year rut after failing to become a player himself, gets a second chance. The premise is an action-fantasy about a man who has been left behind by the new world, and his bid to catch up.The strength is the underdog hook. Hyukjin's frustration is relatable, and the action is bright and energetic. The Seoul setting gives the story a grounded starting point. The weaknesses are about the formula. The failed-then-rising structure is familiar, and the series is still releasing, so its arc is not complete. Readers wanting originality may find it standard.Recommended for fans of underdog action with a grounded setting. Expect an energetic, still-developing read.
