Due to work, Tatsu moves back into his parents' house. Soon after, he meets a young woman who turns out to be Ri-chan, the little girl he used to play with in his childhood. The premise is a gentle romance about returning home and finding that the past has grown up, and the careful steps needed to see each other again. The strength is the nostalgia. The memories of childhood give the story a warm, wistful core, and the reunion is handled with sensitivity. The music elements add a bright note. The weaknesses are about pace. The series is long and leisurely, and some scenes repeat. Readers wanting a faster romance may find it slow.Recommended for readers who enjoy quiet, nostalgic romances. Expect a tender, patient read that rewards its warmth.
