Uchuujin no Kakushigoto

The girl I fell in love with is an alien. That is the twist at the heart of this romance, as the class president confesses his feelings to his eccentric classmate, only to learn her true identity. The premise is a light sci-fi romance that treats a supernatural secret as a source of warmth and comedy rather than danger. The strength is the sincerity. The narrator's feelings feel genuine, and the story handles the strangeness of the alien reveal with humour. The art is clean and expressive, which suits the bright tone. The weaknesses are about scope. The short run leaves some relationships thin, and the secret-keeping plot can repeat the same beats. Readers wanting a deeper romance may find it brief.Recommended for fans of romance with a playful sci-fi hook. Expect a sweet, light read that is best enjoyed as a quick treat.
