In 1970, the Great Sage Minato Ichikami saved the world by destroying the Demon God and its forces, and then he died. Fifty years later, he wakes up in a teenager's body. The premise is a returning-hero fantasy in which a legendary power is trapped in an unfamiliar life. The strength is the hook. The idea of an old master in a young body is fun, and the action carries a bright, confident energy. The story plays with the gap between past glory and modern life in a way that is easy to enjoy. The weaknesses are about freshness. The veteran-returns formula is well worn, and the ongoing story has not yet built much depth. Readers wanting an original take may find it standard.Recommended for fans of power fantasies with a legendary protagonist. Expect a fast, enjoyable read that leans on its hook.
