I've Become a True Villainess

I have to survive, no matter what! I have died and been reincarnated as the villain of a romance novel. In order to avoid the hideous fate written for her, the heroine must plan carefully. That premise is a sharp, determined take on the villainess story, and the series builds its engine on a woman who refuses to accept her destiny. The strength is the scheming. The lead's hard-edged plotting is sharp and satisfying, and the full-colour court is lush. Her determination makes each chapter a small battle for survival. The weaknesses are clear. The villainess setup is familiar, and the romance is secondary to the scheming. Readers wanting a warmer lead may find her cold.Recommended for fans of hard-edged villainess stories with clever plotting. Expect a sharp, determined ride.
