Miss Hikaru’s Sparkling Proposal

One day, Yoshimi Numamoto is surprised by a girl he has never even seen before proposing to him. Turns out she is a sheltered, incredibly wealthy heiress, and he is left dumbfounded. The premise is a light romcom built on a bolt-from-the-blue proposal and the odd couple it creates. The strength is the comedy. The heiress's innocence and Yoshimi's bewilderment make for funny scenes, and the class contrast adds a playful edge. The chemistry is warm and the tone stays light. The weaknesses are about predictability. The unexpected-proposal premise is common, and the romance develops quickly. Readers wanting a slower, deeper story may find it predictable.Recommended for readers who enjoy quick, bright romcoms. Expect a light, cheerful read that is best enjoyed as a treat.
