Reborn into a fantasy novel as a wicked character fated to meet an early demise, Minjoo, now Dahlia Margaret, has a lot on her plate right from the start. The premise is a villainess fantasy about a woman who must rewrite her destiny while surviving the novel's twists. The strength is the heroine. Dahlia's resolve and her efforts to make friends and find happiness give the story warmth. The adventure is bright and the cast is colourful. The weaknesses are about the length and familiarity. The run is very long, and some arcs repeat the same shape. The villainess formula is well worn, so readers wanting originality may find it standard.Recommended for fans of long, upbeat villainess fantasies. Expect a cheerful, sprawling read that rewards commitment.
