A young Korean woman is reincarnated inside a novel as Viche Amelian, who according to the story is to be executed in place of the young prince Jade for assassinating the emperor. The premise is a fantasy comedy about a reader who must survive a story that has already decided her fate. The strength is the heroine. Viche's wit and determination make her a fun lead, and her relationship with the prince adds warmth. The court politics are well sketched. The weaknesses are about the formula. The doomed-character setup is familiar, and the long run can repeat its beats. Readers wanting originality may find it predictable.Recommended for fans of witty reincarnation fantasies with a clever heroine. Expect a fun, familiar read that is more charming than surprising.
