The intimidating gyaru Enjoji is always butting heads with Fujii, the chairman of the school discipline committee, over her dressing outside school regulations. The premise is a romcom built on a rivalry between a rule-keeper and a rule-breaker, where every clash hides something more. The strength is the contrast. Enjoji's bold style and Fujii's strictness make for lively, funny scenes, and their rivalry feels genuinely playful. The school setting gives the comedy a clear frame. The weaknesses are about the familiar setup. The strict-versus-rebel romcom is well worn, and gags repeat over the run. Readers wanting something new may find it predictable.Recommended for fans of playful rivalry romcoms. Expect a bright, funny read that is best enjoyed in steady doses.
