A romantic comedy about a gal who loves games. Otaku Oota is a new freshman who joins the gaming club in order to live out his ideal high-school life. There he unexpectedly meets a girl who loves games just as much as he does. The premise is a light romcom in which two gamers find that their hobby might lead to something more. The strength is the warmth. The gaming club setting is friendly and fun, and the leads' shared interests give the romance a natural spark. The comedy is light and easy to enjoy. The weaknesses are about familiarity. The romance follows expected patterns, and the gaming references may not land for every reader. Readers wanting something new may find it standard.Recommended for fans of gaming-themed romcoms. Expect a cheerful, easy read that is best enjoyed as a light treat.
