Suki dakedo Suki dakara Uketorenai

After being confessed to by his crush, Tachibana, Fujiwara finds himself in complete bliss. But when faced with such a joyful thing, he cannot quite accept it. That premise is light and charming, and the series builds its comedy on the awkward, excited reaction of a boy who has never expected to be loved back. The strength is the warmth. Fujiwara's giddy reactions are funny and sincere, and the romance feels sweet. The short format keeps the joke tight. The weaknesses are clear. The run is very short, so the arc is slight, and the joke can feel thin. Readers wanting depth may find it too brief.Recommended for readers who enjoy short, giddy romcoms. Expect a quick, charming read.
