The popular Fujimori Sachi never faces Kishimoto Arata, who sits next to her in class. No matter how hard Kishimoto tries to see her face, she brilliantly turns away from him. The premise is a light romcom built on a running game of looking and turning away. The strength is the comedy. Kishimoto's persistent attempts are funny and sincere, and Sachi's evasions are charming. The short chapters keep the tone bright. The weaknesses are about scope. The series is short, so the romance has limited room to grow, and the gag can repeat. Readers wanting depth may find it slight.Recommended for readers who enjoy quick, sweet romcoms. Expect a light, cheerful read that is best enjoyed in one go.
