The Demon Lord continues his adventure in this re-vamped series! After encountering the mysterious entity in the lowest level of the Bastille Dungeon, he sets out for Hellion Territory, where Grand Devils vie for domination of the realm. With the addition of a new advisor—the (seemingly) hopeless optimist Akane—the Demon Lord’s army grows even more colorful, and their hijinks even wackier. (Source: J-Novel Club)

The Demon Lord continues his adventure in this re-vamped series. After encountering a mysterious entity on the lowest level of the Bastille Dungeon, he sets out for a new destination. The premise is a fantasy adventure in which a powerful villain-turned-traveller takes on a new quest with a lighter, comic touch. The strength is the energy. The action is bright and the Demon Lord's grand manner gives the comedy a lively edge. The world has plenty of colour, and the adventure moves at a brisk pace. The weaknesses are about the formula. The dungeon-quest structure is familiar, and the series is still releasing, so its arc is not complete. Readers wanting a fresh take may find it standard.Recommended for fans of cheerful fantasy adventures. Expect a bright, energetic read that delivers the genre's pleasures.
