The Lady's Law of Survival

Please let me take over someone else's body this time! That was my request to the King of the Underworld upon my latest arrival. None of my previous incarnations made it past a certain point. The premise is a fantasy comedy in which a reincarnated woman tries to survive her lives with a little help from a wry, otherworldly ruler. The strength is the voice. The heroine's dry, weary humour is funny, and her plans to avoid her fate are clever. The fantasy setting gives the story an inventive frame. The weaknesses are about the long run. The setbacks can repeat, and the romance follows familiar beats. Readers wanting originality may find it predictable.Recommended for fans of witty reincarnation comedies. Expect a fun, sometimes repetitive read with a sharp heroine.
