Bokura no Tsuzuki

Yousuke and Shuu became estranged after a small accident during their childhood. Years later, circumstances bring Shuu to move into Yousuke's home. That premise is quiet and personal, and the series is built on the awkward work of rebuilding a friendship that broke without a clear reason. It is a gentle, intimate story. The strength is the tenderness. The leads' hesitant steps toward each other feel honest, and the small domestic moments carry weight. The school setting is warm and unfussy. The weaknesses are clear. The run is short, so much is left unsaid, and the pace may feel slow to readers wanting momentum. Those wanting a dramatic resolution may find it restrained.Recommended for readers who enjoy quiet, tender stories about reconnecting. Take your time with it.
