Raising a hundred heroes and ending the war with an evil god, Eisen saved the world. Having received a great injury from protecting the heroes, he left for another world to recover. The premise is a comic fantasy about a legendary trainer who meets the next generation, with warmth and a good deal of comedy. The strength is the warmth. Eisen's history and his care for his students give the story a heartfelt core, and the comedy lands often. The adventure is bright and friendly. The weaknesses are about the formula. The retired-hero, mentor-of-heroes setup is familiar, and some arcs drag. Readers wanting originality may find it standard.Recommended for fans of cheerful fantasy with a legendary mentor. Expect a warm, comic read that delivers its heartfelt moments.
