Cong Huang Yan Kai Shi

To avoid accepting two simultaneous confessions from Xia Yiyi and Qiu Mang, Tang Tang told them he was not into girls. Due to the two girls' determination, the lie quickly becomes a tangle of expectations and complications. That is a funny, clever hook, and the series builds its comedy on what happens when a small lie grows. The strength is the comedy. The misunderstandings are fun to follow, and the full-colour school life feels bright. Tang Tang's panicked attempts to manage the lie are amusing. The weaknesses are clear. The misunderstanding can stretch thin over a long run, and the romance develops slowly. Readers wanting a deeper romance may find it light.Recommended for fans of playful, tangled school comedies. Expect a fun, lightly chaotic read.
