COLORLESS

No filler, no dead air, and a world that looks scrubbed of hope on purpose. COLORLESS is a dark, tight seinen read that you can finish in one long sitting. The hook is brutal and simple. Colour is gone, the human face has mostly been lost to mutation, and one lone investigator with a very good gun is hunting the last scraps of it. The art does the heavy lifting: grey streets, sharp shadows, and a rare flash of colour that lands like a punch.Honest critique: the worldbuilding is more atmosphere than explanation. You get the mood, but the why is left for you to fill in, so anyone who wants a clear lore dump will feel shortchanged. The bleakness is relentless too, so this isn't a comfort read.If you want a hard-boiled investigation in a broken future and don't mind open questions, this is a tight, efficient ride. Seven volumes, very little padding.
