Kemono Michi

A masked wrestler who loves animals gets summoned to another world, and the story leans into how ridiculous that is. It's a light, offbeat comedy with a clear sense of joy, and the lead is the reason to keep reading. The premise is simple and the jokes come quick. The strength is the lead. His enthusiasm for creatures is genuine, and it gives the story a warm centre. The animal designs and the scenes built around them are charming, and the comedy has a relaxed rhythm that suits short reading sessions. It's a feel-good read with few rough edges. The weakness is the structure. The plot is thin and mostly episodic, and the jokes tend to repeat their rhythm over time. Readers who want a clear arc will find little to chase, and the fantasy world is more backdrop than focus. If you enjoy goofy, animal-filled comedy with a big heart, this is worth a look. Go in for the lead and the silliness, and enjoy the easy pace.
