Vice Chairman Youngjun Lee and Secretary Miso Kim have been the star duo of their company for nine years. Then Miso suddenly decides to quit. That is a neat hook: a partnership that has defined the office is suddenly broken, and the story asks what was really holding them together. The premise is built on work, habit and something more. The strength is the banter. The sparring between the two leads is sharp and funny, and the full-colour office feels glossy and alive. Their long history gives each exchange a satisfying weight. The weaknesses are clear. The office setting can feel familiar, and the pace is uneven as the story alternates between work and romance. Readers wanting a deeper look at corporate life may find it light.Recommended for fans of grown-up office romcoms with a lot of spark. Expect a fun, brisk ride.
