Ghost Teller

You think your ghost stories are scary? Try listening to these stories from the ghosts themselves. That is the hook, and it gives the anthology an unusual angle. Instead of frightened humans recounting strange events, the narrators are the spirits, and their stories are sad, strange and sometimes unsettling. The strength is the perspective. Each story offers a new view of what it means to be trapped between worlds, and the long-strip art builds dread with patient pacing. The episodes are easy to read in short bursts. The weaknesses are real. Episodes vary in strength, and some twists are predictable. Readers who prefer a single continuous story may find the format scattered.Recommended for horror readers who enjoy atmospheric, ghost-narrated tales. Expect a creepy, uneven collection.
