A boy who has watched unrequited love hurt someone he cares about decides to step in when he sees his senior pining after another boy. The premise is a neat little engine for drama: a well-meant interference that tangles three people together. It is an easy hook for anyone who enjoys stories about feelings that refuse to behave. The strength is the emotional logic. The characters' reactions make sense, and the story treats its leads' feelings with respect. The panels are clean, and the quieter scenes carry real weight. The weaknesses are predictable. Some romance beats follow a well-worn path, and the supporting cast fades into the background. Readers looking for surprises may find the central turns easy to see coming.Recommended for readers who enjoy sincere boys' love with a clear, emotional core. Expect a warm, straightforward romance with a few bittersweet moments.
