Appeals and complaints

Last updated 2026-10-04

If we act on your content or your account, you have the right to know why and to ask us to look again. This page explains how. It covers decisions under the community guidelines and the content policy.

You will be told why

When we remove a thread or reply, or warn, mute, suspend or ban your account, we send you a notice with a statement of reasons. You can see each action on your account, with its reason, on your appeals page.

How to appeal

  • Open your appeals page and find the action you want to challenge.
  • Select Appeal, tell us briefly why you think the decision was wrong, and send it.
  • You can submit one appeal per action, within 14 days of the action.

How we decide

We aim to decide every appeal within 7 days. A different person reviews it where possible; where only one person is available, they wait at least a day and look again with fresh eyes. If we uphold your appeal we reverse the action: removed content goes back and sanctions are lifted, and any related strike is voided. If we do not, the original decision stands and we tell you the outcome.

Limits

Content that is illegal, in particular anything that sexualises a child, is never restored, and reports we make to the National Crime Agency are never withdrawn.

Complaints

If your concern is not about a specific action against you, for example a report you filed that you feel was not handled, or how the site is run, write to safety@weeb.ltd. The person accountable for online safety on weeb.ltd is the site owner. We read complaints within a few days and faster for anything about a minor's safety.
